Well, so much for good intentions

Did not get anything posted about our weekend, so will try to, next week.  Tomorrow and Sunday, Candy and I are going to a Threshing Bee in Butterfield (only about 45 minutes away).  This will not be in period costume, but will be showing off what “Storden’s Stitch in Time” does once a month.

Then, on Monday, I go to Dr Watts in Sioux Falls to see what he says about my knee / leg.  Hopefully he will be happy.

It still hurts, but hurts less and sometimes doesn’t hurt at all.  But only SOMETIMES.

Then we have a week free (sort of) before thinking about heading to the cities for the State Fair.  I will not be working there this year – I have been retired (not my choice, but – oh, well).  But we plan on spending a day at the Fair with Joy and family to celebrate her birthday.

And THEN it’s Pepin, for Laura Ingalls Wilder Days; Bloomington for a weeklong educational rendezvous and then Albert Lea for a 4 day educational rendezvous.

Then we are done for the year (whew!).  And, hopefully a second year in a row of being “bee free.”

It got up 91º here today but is supposed to be cooler tomorrow.  This is the second day in a row that we’ve had the air conditioner on until nightfall.

It was a beautiful day – even if it was hot.  You have a beautiful day.
