The Man who Hates Cats

Here are some better pictures of Scooter, our new kitten. And who do you suppose went out to the entry way and said “She says she hasn’t been played with enough today!” ????????

My daughter and I were just talking about the day my husband, who "hated" cats, first met the second love of his life...our fourteen year old tiger cat!

That cat still sleeps curled up next to him at night. :)

Oh connie, the kitten is so cute! It looks like Norm is sure taken with it. I wonder if maybe it ought to stay in the house and catch any mouse that may trespass on you :)

Your little Scooter looks like my Callie Cat. For someone who does not like cats he is hiding it well :).

LOL That's just too sweet!!!! For such a "cat-hater" he sure looks like he likes scooter!!! Would that my hubby would get over his hatred in such a way. *wink*

New kitten & chicks are adorable! Almost as adorable as the folks who pamper them.
Do you have Aunty Pete's caramel recipe? Her bun recipe makes simply wonderful caramel rolls. And once when a batch had inadvertently dried out atop the refrigerator (we're all so short that it's hard to see that high!) we chunked up the sadly dried out rolls and made a bread pudding that was simply to die for...the cinnamon, caramel and tender pecans were marvelous, especially topped with a dollop of fresh cream.
Busy helping others with their gardens, we were late getting ours in. However recent rains and warmth made things JUMP out of the ground. Since this is a new place to us, we are having fun discovering our earth and what's already there as well as recreating time-tested favorites. This will be a year of gardening adventure!
Miss your smiling faces, and love seeing how grown-up your granddaughters are! Love ya, Kath
